Paisleigh Parker’s Pinterest Inspired Baby Shower

Today I had the honor of attending and helping host a beautiful baby shower for a very good friend of mine.  Kristen has been a wonderful friend of mine for years, and having the opportunity to take part in her shower was a blessing.

Thanks to Pinterest, we had a ton of goodies, all made by her wonderful mom Sharon.  While I had the easy task of being in charge of games and decorating, her mom slaved away and made everything! Drinks, snacks, sandwiches galore, and the beautiful baby cake.  She is indeed a VERY talented cook.

Below are the photos of the wonderful eats she created, and a few additional fun pics. All of these recipes can be found on Pinterest.

First up, the wonderful – personal sized – 7 layer dip! My oh my, this was sooo good!

Second up, we had the wonderful scrumptious Pinterest inspired cake pops!! Look at those little feet and little P’s. 🙂

Next up, the wonderful melon baby! (I am secretly glad I did not have to do this, I would have never not eaten all of the fruit!)

Now the next best thing, the drinks!! We had martini inspired Sprite, with lollipops in the middle. It was so neat to see all the different colors as the candy melted away in the Sprite.

You cant have a baby shower without some ducks! Found in the punch bowl, of course!

I LOVED this station set aside for prayers for Paisleigh, and motherly advice for Kristen. Such a sweet addition, and a new little thing I had not seen before.

The FUN addition, the baby onesie making station! (This was sooo much fun! It started to get a little competitive at the end!)

This was such a sweet shower, and I can’t wait to meet my fairy goddaughter soon!

Thank you for looking! This was a sweet baby shower, and they really did a great job of re-creating all of those fun Pinterest foods. (My extra 5 pounds is proof!)
